IEM Graph Database Update 02.08.2024

Since this is the first post of that character, let me just quickly explain, what this is all about. At flightlessgraph.ch, I run my own little database of frequency response graphs of in-ear monitors.

Frequency response graphs are basically visual representations of how the IEM reproduces sound across the audible range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. While it's disputed, if these graphs truly reflect everything one can hear, they are a good and useful objective representation how an iem will sound.

These blog posts will function as a comprehensible protocol of newly added and/or updated iems and their frequency response graph on flightlessgraph.ch and will be published as an overview from time to time.

New IEMs added

Little Graph Impressions

  • The Simgot Supermix 4 match my target almost perfectly, accordingly I really like how they sound, but not as much as one might expect
  • The Pilgrim match similarly and excite me the most
  • Audio's Hekili are fun mid-bassy
  • The Castors (under 10 USD) might be the best KZ to date, I prefer the UUDD-positions of the tuning switches
